Community Rowing

An open boat offers endless opportunity.

Only the very saddest of individuals stops learning when they reach that magic age of 18 or 21.  Well adjusted individuals allow their education to carry them ever forward.  This amazing world offers us no end of things to learn.  An open boat offers endless opportunity.

We realized early on how many young and old adults are called by our little boats.

We offer Community rows for all ages.

Some adults feel they missed out on whatever sports might have offered them in high school.  So we formed a racing crew.  Most of us can’t afford our own yacht to sail the Gulf of Maine, but we can afford an hour and a half on Saturday morning to row with friends and enjoy being on the water.  We see, feel, smell, hear, and even taste the sea, the sky, the environment that we have come to love.  We become stronger, more grounded individuals.

Station Maine serves at the pleasure of the mid-coast community.  Although we serve primarily as a youth organization we realized early on how many young and old adults are called by our little boats.  We offer community rows for all ages.  We offer family rows, rows for those recovering from addictions, adult racing crews, custom programs and rows for other organizations and camps looking to get out on the water.
